We've made some good progress since the last update. The first batch of inventory will be loaded onto our shipping container on Jan 3rd, and depart on Jan 16th, arriving in Vancouver, Canada around Jan 28th.
The bad news is that our port has about a 1-month backlog of ships waiting to dock, so we won't be able to get our hands on the Night Shifts until around end of February.
Right now, there are a lot of variables when it comes to ocean freight logistics. As you're probably well aware, the global supply chain issues are causing massive delays. Q4 Christmas season is also not helping with all the increased volume.
In the meantime, we're manufacturing as many Night Shifts as we can for this first batch and should be able to ship out most, if not all, Kickstarter orders around end of February or early March.
The second batch of inventory should head our way roughly 2-3 weeks after the first, so anyone who did not get their order fulfilled with the 1st batch, can expect theirs to ship out roughly 2-3 weeks later.
Please note, there are many variables that could affect this timeline, like random customs inspections, weather, etc. Above is our best guess at this time. We'll update you if anything changes.
Once we're closer to receiving inventory, we'll send out Kickstarter surveys to collect Kickstarter backers' shipping addresses. We'll also be publishing the LightMode app in the App Store and Google Play Store around that time.
